Sometimes the first step is the hardest. I understand how challenging it can be to reach out for help. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings and can meaningfully process your experiences. It's an honor to be entrusted to work beside you as you pursue understanding and create the life you want.
I provide affirming, evidence-based mental health support for those dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also have specialized training in trauma interventions such as cognitive processing therapy (CPT), as well as exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD.
My approach to therapy is warm, client-centered, and collaborative. Together, we'll identify the goals you aspire to achieve and develop a personalized plan to help you reach them. I find great joy in working with individuals as they navigate their experiences and strive for lives that bring them fulfillment.
I am a Black, straight, cisgender woman who was born and raised in California. I understand what it's like to sometimes feel out of place or unwelcome. I affirm and support all identities, and it's important to me that you feel heard and understood.
In my free time, I enjoy reading romance novels, spending time outdoors (especially when it’s sunny!), ice skating, and attending sporting events.
