Sometimes life can be... a lot. The mere fact that you are here today is because you are a survivor. A survivor of everything that brought you to this present moment.

In therapy, it is my privilege to partner with clients to explore what their own individual experiences mean to them and what they want to do with that knowledge moving forward. Sometimes that may mean looking at back what they have experienced. Perhaps more often, it is about understanding what they are experiencing now, what they want for the future, and building strategies together for achieving those goals.

I am a white, straight, cisgender female with a passion for affirming, liberation-oriented mental healthcare. My primary training is in CBT, DBT, and ACT therapies. My therapy is trauma-informed, and I have a strong specialty in treating symptoms of trauma and PTSD. I am also passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and providing radically affirming care.

I love supporting clients as they explore goals and meaning in their lives. Our work together can help you reflect on experiences and patterns, learn new coping and communication skills, set and enforce your boundaries, and find what brings you joy. And if we sometimes get to make each other laugh along the way, even better.

My primary research interests are in interpersonal trauma, including sexual assault and immigration / sociopolitical / state-sponsored trauma. Prior to my work in clinical psychology, I spent nearly two decades in the technology industry and public affairs. It was my experience working to fight technology-facilitated crimes, child exploitation, and human trafficking that inspired me to become a therapist.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my partner, our two kids, and our two badly-trained-but-very-cute pets.
