Meet Our Team

At TAC, we are a community of clinicians, scientists, and policy advocates. This means that with a TAC therapist, you will always get skilled care that is informed by the most recent research, provided by people who help generate that research. As policy advocates, we are dedicated to improving the implementation and future of our field. We are committed to justice-centered care. We believe that therapy is a collaborative relationship between equals, and you are the authority on your goals, choices, and experiences. Find more information about each of us below. We look forward to working with you!

Our Staff

Kiana Clay, TAC Clinic Coordinator

Kiana Clay, BS (she/hers)

Clinic Coordinator

Originally from Northern California, Kiana attended California State University, Fullerton where she completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology and competed as a Division I athlete in the sport of track and field. She is now earning her PhD in Clinical Psychology and is primarily interested in working with survivors of trauma. In her free time, Kiana enjoys hiking, reading, watching Netflix, and exploring all that Seattle has to offer.

Nam Kakade, TAC Clinic Coordinator

Nam Kakade, JD (she/hers)

Support Officer

Nam Kakade is a queer South Asian woman hailing from many places but identifying as a Californian at heart. She spent years living in India before getting her B.S. at UCLA in molecular, cell, and developmental biology and her J.D. at George Washington University Law School in D.C. Most recently, she worked as a public defender for the state of Massachusetts. Her involvement in TAC stems from her own struggles with mental health and her previous justice-oriented work in public interest law. In her free time, Nam enjoys cooking, reading, painting, and spending time with her cat.

Daniel Silvermint, TAC Chief Technical Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer

Daniel Silvermint, PhD (he/him)

CTO & HIPAA Privacy Officer

Daniel began his career as an anti-oppression theorist and professor of both Philosophy and Women’s Studies, and this work shapes his approach to design. Daniel focuses on UX, web and mobile app development, and radical accessibility, and he foregrounds disability justice and the democratization of technology in everything he builds. He's currently freelancing for awesome non-profit organizations he believes in (like TAC!). Daniel has found his home in Seattle, but he’ll be the first, second, and third person to tell you that he’s still a proud Minnesotan at heart. This isn't even his dog.
