I often work with people who struggle with overwhelming emotions. I enjoy helping people find a sense of ease when things are hard. My clients are often hopeless, full of worry, or consumed by shame. I work with people experiencing intense anxiety, depression, personality disorders, or suicidality. I also specialize in trauma-focused care and PTSD treatment.

I was born in Taiwan, raised in Canada and China, and currently reside in Seattle. My cross-cultural path has shaped me into a person who is open-minded and appreciative of different worldviews. I am passionate about supporting and empowering underserved and historically excluded populations. My research focuses on experiences of shame and suicidality in Asian and Asian-American populations.

I use evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, and ACT. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and goal-directed. My approach is founded on culturally responsive care that values uniqueness and diversity. I am honored to hold space for all identities. I celebrate — and build on — the strengths and values clients bring into the room. I strive to help clients to create and sustain the life they want to live. I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin.
