Insurance: I am an out-of-network (OON) provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. If your mental health insurance benefits cover therapy with OON providers, you may be able to be reimbursed for some of your mental healthcare fees with me. Please check with your insurance company for details of benefits.
I know how hard it can be to find a mental health professional that you trust and connect with. Therapy can be so valuable and at the same time feel overwhelming, which is why creating a safe space for clients to be able to share and explore their experiences is a priority for me in every session. Together, we will talk about and work through things that may be challenging to talk about anywhere else and that means sessions with me are a judgment-free zone where we work at the pace you need to effectively process your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I am a white, straight, cisgender woman dedicated to providing affirming mental healthcare to each client. In therapy, I use evidence-based interventions such as CBT and DBT and am particularly experienced in working with trauma and childhood sexual abuse survivors, clients struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as athletes looking to improve their sports performance and overall wellbeing. I also have training in exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP) for OCD. Additionally, I am incredibly passionate about self-care practices, which is why I also enjoy working with those who have sleep-related difficulties and those struggling with burnout. Self-care is such an important piece for sustainability in our day-to-day lives, yet it is often the first thing we neglect.
When I am not working, I enjoy reading a good book and competing in the sport of weightlifting.
