Individual therapy sessions are private sessions with you and your therapist. Your therapist will start by asking you questions about your goals, concerns, symptoms, and history. These early sessions help us get to know you and allow us to collaborate on a customized course of treatment.
We believe therapy should help you make progress towards your goals. This may involve talking about your thoughts and feelings, noticing patterns of behavior, problem solving, thinking about interpersonal dynamics, learning new skills, challenging fears, and celebrating your strengths.
Research shows that therapist/client fit plays a big role in treatment effectiveness. You deserve a therapist who gets you. Read about our therapists to find the right therapist for you!

At TAC, we focus on assessments involving developmental atypicality. We offer assessments for:
We specialize in assessments for adults and older adolescents (age 15+), especially complex diagnoses or people who don’t look like “typical” cases of autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities. We know there is no such thing as typical.
All assessments at TAC are trauma-informed, culturally humble, and LGBTQ+ affirming. Prices are sliding scale and will depend on the complexity of the battery. Contact us and a member of the assessment team will be in touch to discuss your needs.
